Application for Review against the procedures of the Written Examination

Application for Review - Practical Examination

Reviews against an examination outcome can only be made on the basis that there has been an alleged breach in the administrative process. If a candidate wishes to proceed with a review this must be forwarded in writing to the ADC within 28 days from the date of notification of the results of the relevant examination, and be accompanied by the stipulated fee.  Any relevant supporting documentation or statements should be included.

The review will be referred to a Review Panel that will review the process and the decision that was made. The Review Panel comprises up to four members of the ADC Assessment Committee, including the Chair (or nominee), and the ADC Chief Executive Officer.

The Review Panel will make a recommendation to the ADC and the candidate will be advised of the outcome within six weeks of the appeal being lodged.

If the candidate is dissatisfied with the decision of the Review Panel, the candidate may make an Application for Appeal. The application is then considered by an Independent Appeals Committee (IAC). Following consideration of the case, the IAC will deliver its decision to the ADC. The ADC will advise the candidate of the outcome of the appeal.

Refer to the ADC Fee Schedule for more information regarding the fees for Verification, Review and Appeal of results.
