2024 ADC Candidate Forum 17th Dec 2024 Our 2024 ADC Candidate Forum was held on 26 November. We received nearly 2000 registrations for the event and over 650 candidates joined us live. Dr Trini Jacial Lillo was once again our MC this year and Dr Felicia Valianatos, the newly appointed Chair of the ADC Board of Directors, and previous ADC candidate, opened the forum proceedings with a heartwarming message to all candidates. What a fabulous job they both did! A special thank you goes out to the amazing speakers who kept everyone engaged for over 2 hours and provided some very useful and insightful information. Dr Annalene Weston from Dental Protection Australia spoke about safe practice and the role of Professional Indemnity insurance Dr Ben Keith from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency gave an overview of continuing professional development and the regulatory requirements for dental practitioners, A/Prof John Boucher from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons delivered an in-depth session on examination, diagnosis and treatment planning.
