Formation of the ADC International Accreditation Committee

We are thrilled to announce the establishment of the ADC International Accreditation Committee. Approved by the ADC Board in its recent meeting, this committee marks a significant step forward in expanding our accreditation services to education providers delivering dental education and training programs outside of Australia and New Zealand.

ADC has successfully conducted two international accreditation events in the United Arab Emirates with four more program reviews planned for later this year, including two specialist programs. Due to the growing interest in international accreditation from regions including the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the Pacific, the ADC Board endorsed the formation of the ADC International Accreditation Committee to enhance oversight and governance. The creation of this committee ensures consistency in decision-making across our Board and both the Australian and International Accreditation Committees. This structured governance approach is designed to effectively manage risks while facilitating timely and informed decisions.

The work of this committee will help to shape the future of ADC’s international strategy and reinforce our position as a leader in accreditation nationally and internationally.
