International accreditation visit to Fiji National University 8th Sep 2025 The ADC’s international accreditation services continue to review overseas dental education programs, allowing them to be benchmarked against Australian standards. The Australian Dental Council International (ADCI) recently visited Fiji National University (FNU) in Suva, with a team comprising Philippa Davis (ADC), Chair Anne Symons, Albert Tran and Leanne Smith. In addition, ADC CEO Jonathon Kruger attended as an observer. Over four days, the team reviewed FNU’s Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Oral Health programs. The visit provided an invaluable opportunity to better understand the local context in which these programs are delivered and the important role FNU plays as a hub for South Pacific communities, welcoming students from across the region and internationally. The ADC is grateful for the warm hospitality of our hosts and the chance to engage with the dedicated staff shaping the next generation of oral health professionals. Previous Article Next Article
