Quality improvements for annual reporting processes 9th Oct 2024 Under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 (National Law), the ADC is required to regularly monitor accredited programs to ensure that they continue to meet the Accreditation Standards. The ADC asks education providers to complete an annual self-evaluation for all accredited programs. As part of the ongoing quality improvement processes for accreditation the ADC met with many education providers who told us that changing the way this data is collected would enhance the process. For example, entering the data into an online platform would avoid the need for emailing files, adding automated quantitative data analysis and using AI to analyse the qualitative data would improve the reports produced. After comparing several proposed options, we chose Qualtrics to deliver a tailored solution and ensure the identified needs were met. Annual reporting surveys were launched in early July, with custom links for each program being sent to all education providers. As the data is being entered into the surveys the accreditation team are now working with Qualtrics to design the custom reporting dashboards. The data will then be available for the Accreditation Committee to review, and with the permission of providers could be used to inform other projects and research in the future.
