Passing the ADC examination depends on the time of year that you take it

Rumor: In May and June, which coincide with the end of the financial year in Australia, the passing rate for candidates in the practical
exam may be lower, sometimes even dropping to zero. Because of this, some people suggest avoiding taking the exam during these months.

This is untrue. While there may be fewer candidates who sit the practical examination in the middle of the year, this is linked to the written
examination timetables. There are generally more candidates sitting in period one and period three because applications for these periods
open soon after results for the written examinations are released. This means candidates who have just passed the written examination may
be interested in applying for the next available practical examination session!
