Jamie Williamson

Jamie, a Budawang Yuin man from the New South Wales south coast, is driven by his passion for improving Indigenous health outcomes. Jamie has worked in health and community services in Aboriginal community-controlled and not for profit sectors, as well as in government.

Jamie is the owner of Dawaray Business Consulting and a sessional lecturer with Federation University in the Institute of Health and Wellbeing regarding remote and rural health, including policy development and community engagement. With current governance experience with being a member of the East Gippsland Water Corporation Board of Directors, involved with the Ahpra Community Advisory Council and owner of Dawaray Business Consulting.

Previously before joining the ADC Board of Directors, Jamie was an inaugural council member of Victorian Aboriginal Employment and Economic Council, a working group member for the Victorian Cultural Tourism Advisory Body and the Agricultural College Modernisation Program, and CEO within the Aboriginal health and wellbeing sector.

He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has a graduate certificate in Management (Public Sector).
