Leah Hobbs Board Deputy Chair, Accreditation Committee Chair, People and Culture Committee member Leah is an Oral Health Therapist and board director with clinical and governance experience spanning the public, private, not for profit and academic sectors. Leah is on the Panel of Assessors, Dental Hygienists, Dental Therapists and Oral Health Therapists for Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and is a Research Higher Degree Student reviewing current models of oral health care for paediatric patients to reduce hospitalisations for preventable dental presentations. Leah is dedicated to improving oral health literacy and enhancing access to safe, high-quality dental care with a focus on empowering vulnerable populations. She has been nationally recognised through multiple awards for her leadership in implementing data-driven paediatric dental care and for her contributions to mentoring within oral health education. She holds qualifications in Oral Health Therapy, Public Health, Higher Education, Clinical Redesign, and Health Management and Leadership and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Leah currently holds membership with the Oral Health Association of Australia, International Health Literacy Association, Women on Boards, International Society for Quality in Health Care, International Association for Dental Research and is an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management.
