The ADC celebrates the opening of its administration and examination centre
5 June 2018
The Australian Dental Council (ADC) celebrated a major milestone with the opening celebration of its new administration and examination centre held on 31 May, 2018.
Beginning with a Welcome to Country ceremony performed by Wurundjeri Elder Uncle Bill Nicholson, the event gave guests the chance to tour the new premises ahead of the commencement of the new practical examination process.
For the ADC, this opening provided an opportunity for the organisation to thank all those who contributed towards the development and delivery of this important project explained Narelle Mills, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Dental Council.
This project has always been more than the physical four walls of the new administration and examination centre. While construction was underway, there was a lot of work going on behind the scenes to deliver a range of projects, along with our day-to-day functions.
“There were a number of people from our staff, to our subcontractors, to our advisors, who played pivotal roles across all of these projects. This celebration was our way of saying thank you to everyone involved for making the ADC administration and examination centre a success,” said Narelle.
The purpose built, state-of-the-art centre has been designed to provide candidates with the greatest opportunity to demonstrate their competence.
