The ADC announces application dates for the written examination

The Australian Dental Council (ADC) is pleased to announce written examination application dates for examinations taking place in 16 to 17 September 2019.
Written examination application period
The application period for written examination places for all dental professions will open from Monday 27 May to Friday 14 June 2019.
How to apply
Candidates who successfully completed the ADC Initial assessment of professional qualifications in their respective discipline are eligible to apply for a written examination place.
Eligible candidates can submit their application form and supporting documentation to the ADC via post during the application period.

Examination dates: dentists
The written examination for dentists will take place over two consecutive days from 16 to 17 September 2019.
The computerised examination is delivered by PearsonVUE and is offered in various locations in Australian and internationally.
Examination dates: dental hygiene and dental therapy
The written examination for dental hygienists, dental therapists and oral health therapists will take place from 16 to 17 September 2019.
Written examinations for dental hygienists, dental therapists and oral health therapists is a paper-based examination which takes place over one or two days, depending on the profession.
The dental hygienist, dental therapist and oral health therapist written examination will be held in Melbourne, Victoria.
In fairness to all candidates, the ADC cannot consider applications received outside the defined application period, or from candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria.
Future written examination application dates and examination periods will be announced via the ADC website as information is available.
