2026 ADC examination calendar

Just a reminder that the 2026 ADC Examination Calendar for General Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, Dental Therapy, Dental Prosthetists and Combined Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy written and practical examinations is now available. You can view the calendar on our website for:

Dentists
Dental Hygienists, Dental Therapists and Oral Health Therapists
Dental Prosthetists

We have released the calendar for a whole year, and we hope it will help you plan for your examinations.

Please keep a note of the dates – especially of the application and date selection periods. These periods are slightly shorter
than in the past, so please do not assume they are the same.

Eligible candidates wishing to sit either a written or practical examination will need to submit their application within the relevant open application period.

Applications for ADC exams are submitted via ADC Connect. Please make sure that your identification documents are up-to-date and complete your personal information to apply for an ADC examination.
