ESG Framework

The ADC recognises that we have a responsibility to society and the environment, and understand that, as an organisation, we could be a force for good in the global and local community.

We are proud to develop and launch our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Framework. This Framework sets the expectation that we are informed by, and responsible to, society and our environment, and supports our team to practice ethical decision-making in line with our organisational values.

Environmental

Environmental responsibility for the ADC includes managing carbon and climate change vulnerabilities, water, waste and pollution management, renewable and clean technology and consideration of the unique rights of First Nations peoples to access, maintain and protect their lands.

Social

Social responsibilities include human capital development, health and safety, ethical supply chain and sourcing, human rights, privacy and data security and community engagement.

Governance

Governance responsibilities include ESG reporting, risk-mitigation and management, Board diversity, executive pay, business ethics, and policies that enhance corporate behaviour including protection of human rights.
