New chairs in the examination centre

To create more opportunities to sit the ADC’s Practical Examination and further reduce waiting time, we are pleased to announce we have installed two more dental chairs in the simulation clinic.

From the start of period 2, our practical examination capacity will increase from 24 to 28 places per session. To accommodate additional candidates in the OSCE rotations, we will be reducing the changeover time at the end of each OSCE station from 2 minutes to 1 minute.

No changes will be made to either the reading time or the examination time, which will remain 3 minutes and 10 minutes respectively, and candidates will also receive extra rest breaks during their circuits.

We look forward to being able to welcome more candidates in the exam centre each day.
