Integration of virtual dental simulation at different stages of the curriculum

To continue our series on innovative clinical practice, in this issue we’re pleased to share a recent publication from Associate Professor Mahmoud Bakr and colleagues on The potential integration of Simodont® Dental Trainer in different stages of the dental curriculum.

This study explored the optimal integration of virtual dental simulation (VDS) at various stages of dental curricula.

The authors propose a flexible approach to including VDS in dental curricula, which can be customised to meet the specific needs
of each educational institution, providing a tailored learning experience for students.
