Meet the Accreditation team: Karen Chipperfield 9th Oct 2024 As always, it’s our pleasure to introduce you to members of the ADC’s Accreditation team. This month, we’re learning more about our newest Senior Accreditation Officer, Karen Chipperfield. Q: Can you tell us a little about yourself? A. Prior to joining the ADC I was looking for a role that was challenging and involved working in a team to achieve common goals. I have found that in spades in the role of Senior Accreditation Officer at the ADC – it’s a great working environment, there is plenty to learn, and my team are incredibly friendly and supportive. Q. When did you commence at the ADC? A. I was excited to join the ADC in July 2024. When I started it was a busy time for the team with several site visits about to occur and an upcoming accreditation committee meeting. Q. What are you looking forward to? A. I look forward to working through a full cycle of all the tasks we do. Q. How would your colleagues describe you in three words? A. Friendly, caring and talkative. Q. What is something surprising about you? A. Most people would be surprised to hear I take a tap-dancing class every Monday night with my good friend Suzie. We learnt together as teenagers and love dancing together every week again as ‘Master’ tappers! Q. What is on your bucket list? A. I’m ticking off a bucket list item in January–February 2025 with a trip to see the Northern Lights in Norway and Finland. Q. What can’t you live without? A. I’m pretty easy to please, but I can’t live without a book to read. Previous Article Next Article
