During the practical examination, candidates’ attempts are compared against each other to determine pass/fail

This is not true. Each attempt is marked individually, and no comparison happens. The work that you do is what determines your mark, not the work of other candidates.

The ADC prioritises profit over candidates, focusing more on collecting fees than ensuring a fair and transparent process

The ADC’s priority is to uphold public safety in Australia. Our aim is to ensure that candidates who complete our process can demonstrate they meet the professional competencies of the newly graduated dental practitioner from an Australian program, and are safe to practise
in the Australian context.

The ADC is a not-for-profit organisation, and that means that any fees we collect are used to cover costs associated with the delivery of our services, as well as the maintenance and upgrade of our Examination Centre equipment to ensure candidates are provided with the best opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge.
