ADC International (ADCI) is a leading independent authority in accreditation and assessment of health programs worldwide, with a particular focus on oral health.
The Australian Dental Council (ADC) is supported by a number of expert committees that provide specialist advice, ensure robust decision-making, and help uphold the standards of safety, quality and integrity across our assessment and accreditation processes to ensure a qualified and capable health workforce.
The Accreditation Committee is responsible for advising the ADC Board of Directors of matters relating to the ADC/Dental Council (New Zealand) accreditation standards for dental practitioner programs (the Standards). It is made up of individuals representing academia, the dental professions, the community, the public sector, and dental students.
The International Accreditation Committee is responsible for advising the ADC Board of Directors of matters relating to accreditation of programs outside of Australia and New Zealand. It is made up of individuals representing international accreditation, the dental professions, and has a member of the Accreditation Committee.
The Assessment Committee is responsible for ensuring the best practice approach to our assessment processes. It consists of representatives from the community, academia, and the dental profession.
The Finance Audit and Risk Monitoring (FARM) Committee is responsible for overseeing the ADC’s financial performance and compliance obligations.
The People and Culture Committee is responsible for advising the ADC Board of Directors on matters relating to the composition, structure, evaluation, selection, appointment, and succession planning of the Board and its Committees.
