ADC shares accreditation research at CLEAR Conference in Chicago 1st Oct 2026 In September 2025, Philippa Davis, Executive Director, Accreditation, Policy and Research at the Australian Dental Council (ADC), presented at the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR) Annual Educational Conference in Chicago. The conference brings together regulators and accreditation professionals from around the world to explore emerging issues, share ideas and strengthen professional regulation through collaboration and learning. Philippa Davis’ presentation, Is accreditation effective in ensuring graduates are safe to practise? A framework to measure program accreditation, explored how accreditation authorities can better understand and evaluate the impact of their accreditation activities. The presentation drew on the ADC’s research into the impact of accreditation and its role in supporting high-quality education and public safety. By sharing this work with regulators, accreditation bodies and other professionals from around the world, the ADC contributed to international discussions about strengthening accreditation and professional regulation.
