Interested to know more about continuing professional development (CPD)?

The Dental Board of Australia (DBA) requires registered practitioners in Australia to undertake CPD regularly to ensure they keep up their knowledge and skills. Information and resources about CPD can be found on the DBA’s website at Dental Board of Australia – Continuing professional development (CPD) resources. As a candidate undergoing the ADC assessment process you are not required to meet the DBA’s standard until you obtain registration in Australia, although you may have CPD requirements to meet with your overseas regulatory authority or jurisdiction.

Professional associations representing the different divisions of dentistry often run events and CPD sessions that may be of interest to you if who would like to continue to develop your knowledge and expertise.
